I'm moving from Steward Observatory, UArizona to the University of Michigan, and will be an assistant professor in the Department of Astronomy at Umich.
I'm working on high-redshift (z > 6.5) quasar surveys, the growth of the early supermassive black holes, black hole-host co-evolution, and the reionization history. Our survey has yielded the largest reionization-era quasar sample including three most distant quasars known at z > 7.5. I am leading JWST-ALMA programs to deeply investigate these distant systems.
